The Birdwood Wine and Cheese Centre promotes Unique Boutique wines, cheeses and gourmet products from around the State of South Australia. South Australia is considered the driest state in the driest continent but we produce some of the most outstanding produce available. As many small wine producers do not have a cellar door for their tastings and sales, we will promote and sell their wines within our centre, our wine club and many South Australian Shows. We also offer tastings of selected gourmet products and cheeses.
The Birdwood Wine & Cheese Centre is located on the main street of Birdwood opposite the National Motor Museum.
The historic township of Birdwood is nestled in the Adelaide Hills approximately 45 minutes from the centre of Adelaide and is accessible by a number of alternative tourism routes. Travel along the South Eastern Freeway to the Verdun exit and follow the signs to Birdwood.
Travel the beautiful Torrens Valley through Tea Tree Gully, Inglewood, Gumeracha ( home of the Big Rocking Horse and Wooden Toy Factory) to Birdwood.
Roads also lead from the Barossa Valley either through Mt Pleasant or Williamstown.

Sit and enjoy a glass of wine with a cheese platter,served with biscuits and local olives or a "Double Dip" choose from asian pumpkin, spincach pesto dip or poppyseed skordahlia.
